This is Sri Bala Tripurasundari’s Dyana Sloga. She controls the entire Universe under the influence of Her galaxy of pink coloured planets. She has Japa Mala and Book in Her hands. With Her “Abaya mutra” in one hand she assures protection and blessings are bestowed from the other hand. Let Sri Balatripura Sundari who dwells on the blossomed pink lotus give boons and eternal bliss to all. Let us pray that She should stay forever in our heart.
It is exceptional to worship Ambigai in her child form. To worship Bala is the first step in the Sri Vidya Sambradaya. Ambigai is called Bala as she enjoys playing like a small girl child. Lalithobakiyanam says “Nine year old Bala has complete blessings of Ambigai”. Upasana Rahasyam says that one who gets the Bala’s blessings will get Ambigai’s blessings. Bala is the epitome of all Arts. When children worship Bala she will bestow them with knowledge, music, dance, sports and make them supreme in their fields. It is believed that Bala as a child likes “Kummi” a folk song. Kongana Chitthar has sung a Kummi song when He worshipped Bala.
Such a supreme “Bala” came in the dream of Karthikeyan P S who lives in Bangalore in the year 2005 and ordered to build a temple for Her. Unaware that the girl who came in the dream was BalaTripurasundari, he had met Shri Rajkumar who is well known for Theiva Prasannam who identified the Girl as Bala through Theiva Prasannam. Subsequently a place in Satamangalam village near Maramalai Nagar (on the way from Tambaram to Chengalpet before Ford factory) on GST Road was acquired to construct the temple. Entire sanctum was designed by Mahesh Sthapathi of Dattatreya Architects with deiva prasanna specification from Rajkumar.
Sri Bala Tripurasundari temple was consecrated on Thursday 5th Feb 2015 (Makam Nakshatra, 22nd Thai month, Jeya Varusha) by renowned Sarva Sadagar Siva Agama Sollin Vendhar Tirupachur Sri Ramesh Gurukkal and his team.
Nithya puja and other pujas are done by Tirukatchur Sri Manoharan Gurukkal.
Nava Avarana puja on pournami days, Chandi Parayanam during Vijayadasami and Vidya Arambam are done by well known Sri K.M.Subramanian of Adyar.
